Maverick Viñales Joins Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Team for 2017 and 2018

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Team has announced the signing of the Ecstar Suzuki rider, Maverick Viñales.It was all but confirmed that Viñales will partner the nine times world champion, Valentino Rossi for 2017 and 2018.The former Moto3 world champion looks forward to next year

Awesome race by Jorge Lorenzo #99 with a hatrick after winning the Italian GP in the Autodromo Del Mugello with a tyre choice of both front and rear medium tyre combinations.With a great start on the first lap he managed to gain 2.0 sec. of a gap from the man behind him Andrea Iannone #29. The Doctor,Valentino Rossi #46,had a bad start but recovers from 9th to 3rd position.As Marquez crashes out of the race when it was just 3 laps remaining.It was so far one of Rossi's toughest recovery this season. F1 Champion Lewis Hamilton,Invited to Yamaha Factory Racing Team Garage in Indianapolis Motor Speedway

F1 Champion Lewis Hamilton,recently spoke to Yamaha Factory Racing Team's riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi to a MotoGP Test. The F1 Champion said that he had always wanted to be a motorcycle racer instead,his father bought him a go-kart.However,he was not disappointed to be a F1 racer.He always wanted to try a MotoGP bike so,Yamaha Factory Racing Team gave him a chance. Jorge Lorenzo added:"Lewis is very passionate about motorcycles I think he rides some motocross,so I think I would lend my M1 to him (Lewis) and maybe with a big insurance!" Michelin Decides AustinGP Race Tyres

The Official MotoGP tyre supplier, Michelin, has decided to supply the stiffer rear tyres as they did not want to repeat the incident that involved Scott Redding in last week's free practice in Argentina where he got a puncture on his rear tyre which caused the race to be shortened to 20 laps instead of 24 laps and a flag to flag situation.This incident also happened in preseason testing in Sepang, Malaysia which involved Avintia Racing Team's Loris Baz.
