MotoGP Movistar Aragon Race Review

Welcome back to another race review and we are going to be taking a look at the Premier Class of the MotoGP world championship.

The weather was fine and it was perfect for racing.Marc Marquez in pole position and chasing his fifth win of the season.Jorge Lorenzo was chasing his sixth win of the season and his fellow team mate Valentino Rossi chasing his fifth win of the season.

A surprising weekend as the former Moto2 world champion Toni Elias returns to MotoGP riding with the Forward Yamaha.

Red lights are off and off they went.A bad start for Marquez and Lorenzo leads the way.Valentino Rossi was stuck in fifth position and Dani Pedrosa was in fourth. An amazing ride from Andrea Iannone with that damaged shoulder bone.

It was just two laps and surprisingly Marquez crashed out of the race for the fifth time this season. He was disappointed with one man and that one man was himself. He slided the bike and he was trying to push the bike up but to no avail. What a gift for Lorenzo as his rival crashed out but the crash made Valentino Rossi's championship gap became larger.

Rossi finally got past his fellow countrymen Iannone and next in the list Dani Pedrosa. It was five laps to go and Rossi made a move into the reverse corkscrew but Pedrosa's style of lifting the bike helped him to defend his position. An exciting battle between Rossi and Pedrosa.

We could see a intense battle between Honda and Yamaha throughout the year but I think this battle is the best so far this season.Pedrosa showing that he still has the skills to be a championship contender but only one thing that stops him from being a world champion and that is injury.

Lorenzo leads with over 3.2 seconds gap and he claimed his sixth win of the season.Dani Pedrosa won the battle and Rossi finished in third place. An excellent job for Yamaha this season and the championship gap between Rossi and Lorenzo has just rise to 14 points.
