Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli MotoGP Race Review

Welcome back to another race review of the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli and we are going to be taking a look at the premier class of The MotoGP World Championship.

The race was thrilling with all tickets were sold out for only one reason to watch The Doctor Valentino Rossi it was his home race in Misano only ten kilometres away from his hometown in Tavuilla.

The race started with an unexpected weather forecast and race direction still declared a dry race it was cloudy with a drizzling spots of rain and it was Silverstone all over again.Again a surprising qualifying session for the Italian wild card Michele Pirro with an outstanding sixth on the grid.Nightmare scenario for the riders and it was Michele Pirro who gambled for wet tyres and again the weather was unexpected.

Lights are off and off they went! A good start from The Doctor Valentino Rossi was up into second place on the first corner of the circuit and his championship contender Jorge Lorenzo leads the race. It was early on the race it was Scott Redding who became the first victim of the wet asphalt.

Then again, it was Silverstone all over again as the rain began to drizzle.Most of the riders went to make a change to their tyres while others stayed out.Marquez,Rossi and Lorenzo stayed out.

Lap after lap Rossi,Lorenzo and Marquez went to pit and it was Lorenzo and Marquez who was quick on changing their bikes.Then the real battle command Lorenzo led the way Marquez second and Rossi was in third.Rossi was just trying to find which part of the circuit was Lorenzo and Marquez weak in.

Throughout the race the track was drying up and again it was a flag-to-flag situation and again most of the riders went to pit while others stayed out.The first of the three expert riders Marquez, made to the pits to make a change to the tyres.Second, it was Lorenzo who went to the pits and surprisingly, Rossi stayed out.

The crowd gone wild but it was not for long that Rossi had to make a change to the tyres.So, Marquez was leading the race.A surprising moment for the championship contender Jorge Lorenzo crashed out of the San Marino Grand Prix.It was a huge surprise for the championship.

It was the end of the race and Marquez clinches his first ever win in Misano and a surprising second place from the rider who crashed out earlier on the race Scott Redding came second and another British rider Bradley Smith who clinched his second ever podium in MotoGP.
