MotoGP Octo British Grand Prix 2015 Race Review

Welcome back to round twelve of the MotoGP World Championship in England.

It was a soaking wet race and a nightmare scenario for the riders.Marc Marquez was on pole position and chasing his fourth win of the season.

It was an unpredictable race at the start as the weather was dry with just some drizzling spots of rain. Some riders opted for the wet tyres while others gambled for the slicks.

When it came to warm up lap session, the track became wetter and wetter as the raining began.Marshals had given the riders a sign that they could change tyres to the pit lane.

It was unbelievable as all the riders went to the pit and changed tyres to wet tyres. So, race direction declared a wet race and a slight delay to the race as all the riders went to make a change to their tyres then, the race had been red flagged.

The regulations said that if only there was one rider on the grid, the race would not have been red flagged. The riders could have been even more terrified if the race was started on pit lane just like Sachenring last year.

The time had shown to 3:15, it was racing time!
"Lights are off and off they went!"

It was an unbelievable start from the rookie, Jack Miller he started way down from the field and we saw him overtake riders and he found himself in seventh position.

Lap after lap Miller was catching up with the local man, Cal Crutchlow and unfortunately, Miller lost the grip and Cal was taken out by his fellow team-mate, Jack Miller. It was a disappointing race for Cal and also for the rookie, Jack Miller.

The track became wetter and wetter and grip was lesser and lesser. The riders were able to maintain their balance and it was a surprising battle between Ducati GP 15 versus the Ducati GP 14.2 that was ridden by the Italian Danilo Petrucci.

At the front we could see Marc Marquez just closing the gap between himself and Rossi. The race couldn't get any wetter. The tyres were worn out in just eight laps remaining and it was Marc Marquez who surprisingly crashed out of the British Grand Prix.He lost the rear grip skidded, slid and crashed out.

Valentino Rossi did not realise that the man who was shadowing him had crashed out so, he pushed as hard as he could.Rossi saw the pit board and telling him to make a gap between himself and Petrucci.

It was the final lap and the Italian Valentino Rossi won his fourth win of the season and his fellow countymen, Danilo Petrucci clinched his first ever podium finish. It was an all-Italian podium as Andrea Dovizioso took the final podium spot.
