The Qatar MotoGP Grid Decided With FP3 Times
Welcome back to another MotoGP news! There was an absolute drama yesterday evening in Losail,Qatar.Extreme conditions had put the Asia Talent Cup Race 1 and all MotoGP classes' qualifying sessions to a halt.The track was almost completely soaked with water while in some parts of the tracks were as dry as a bone. All qualifying sessions were cancelled and the grid for the main race would be decided using the FP3 lap times.This decision had made an absolute shocker as the MotoGP veterans, Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, would start the opening round of the 2017 season in 10th and 12th respectively. While the newcomers such as last years Moto2 world champion, Johann Zarco,would start from 4th on the grid for his debut race in the MotoGP class.Another shocking result is last years race winner, Maverick Vinales, who would start his debut race with the YZR-M1 Yamaha in pole position.
