Race Direction Punishes Iannone for Reckless Riding

MotoGP Race Direction, Mike Webb, had decided to penalise Ducati Team's Andrea Iannone with a three place grid penalty on Sunday's race in Austin for reckless riding on track when battling with his fellow countrymen, Andrea Dovizioso. It was only one bend to go in the Argentina Grand Prix when Andrea Iannone decided to overtake his team mate in the final corner but, he lost the front grip on the exit resulting his bike to collide with Andrea Dovizioso's bike.A gift for the Movistar Yamaha rider, Valentino Rossi who took second in the race taking the advantage of the crash. Michelin Decides AustinGP Race Tyres

The Official MotoGP tyre supplier, Michelin, has decided to supply the stiffer rear tyres as they did not want to repeat the incident that involved Scott Redding in last week's free practice in Argentina where he got a puncture on his rear tyre which caused the race to be shortened to 20 laps instead of 24 laps and a flag to flag situation.This incident also happened in preseason testing in Sepang, Malaysia which involved Avintia Racing Team's Loris Baz. MotoGP Stars Visit NASA Head Quarters

Welcome back everyone! It has been a long break without any posts and we are back to accompany you with race reviews and MotoGP's latest news. Since the next race will be held in The Circuit of The Americas in the U.S, Dani Pedrosa,Andrea Iannone as well as MotoGP legend Kevin Schwantz, was on a small trip to the NASA Head Quarters.They had a tour of the HQ and they had a chance to talk to the astronauts on space.
